Ӿ

In order to rally diverse stakeholders around the pressing issue of water degradation in the Amazon, requiring concrete protective measures, this project aims to map and disseminate the vulnerability levels of water resources in the region. These resources are threatened by ecosystem degradation from deforestation, pollution (including mining and agriculture), urbanization, and the impacts of climate change. Through comprehensive analyses, RAISG seeks to integrate geospatial data on surface water dynamics with risk factors. Additionally, it aims to bolster technical cooperation efforts through water dialogues and advocate for policies and measures to safeguard this critical resource.
